A training of Engineer-Chemist in 5 years
  • Integrated preparatory cycle: 2 years
  • Engineer cycle: 3 years
    The teaching program over 5 years makes it possible to balance teaching between the scientific disciplines, the techniques of the engineer, the human formation, the opening to the company and the practice of the languages.

    A teaching and cultural richness
    School rested by the Catholic Institute of Paris in 1957, member of the "Conférence des Grandes Écoles" and the Gay Lussac Federation, the ESCOM is affiliated with the "Fédération des Écoles Supérieures et des Cadres (FESIC)" which gathers 24 schools of higher education. The ESCOM belongs with eight other schools to the "Institut Polytechnique Saint Louis", pledge of teaching, scientific and associative synergy.

    An adaptation to realities of the company
    The students work from 12 to 26 months in a company:

  • Working training course, technician, and engineer
  • Last year alternating the courses and a project of end of studies
  • Possibility of spending one year of alternation in company to France or abroad between the 4th and 5th year

    A preparation with the professional life
    The ESCOM proposes a course individualised in the last year by the choice of the option:

  • Research and Development
  • Applications
  • Management and Marketing
    The ESCOM advises and accompanies the student in the development by his or her professional project.

    An international opening

  • English is compulsory and one second language is advised.
  • he students pass the TOEFL. The acquired level makes it possible to carry out part of the course abroad.
  • Partnerships are established with foreign universities (Germany, Canada, Italy, the USA...) for collaborations of research and exchanges of students.

    A human and social dimension
    The ESCOM holds a significant place with the human and social formation: techniques of search for employment, communication, management, economy, sociology, ethics, humanism...

    A diversity of trade
    he training of Engineer-Chemist ESCOM allows a great diversity of trades in many branches of the industry. The post-graduate students are employed to 40% of the cases in the chemical and para-chemical industry and to 60% in other professional branches.
